WAYNE, N.J. - Tuesday, February 4, 2014 - Valley National Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY), has promoted Dianne M. Grenz to Executive Vice President – Director of Sales.

Ms. Grenz joined Valley National Bank in 1995 and brings over 25 years of business experience to her position. As Director of Sales she will lead the development, implementation and execution of all business strategies and sales initiatives throughout the Bank. Her goal will be to identify new opportunities for revenue growth, as well as managing the sales efforts throughout New Jersey, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Grenz graduated from Centenary College, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Marketing and Management and received her Executive MBA in Marketing and Management from the Business School of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She is a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey’s Program Services Committee, as well as a Volunteer and Mentor for Wish Granting.
